Schools from all over Vermont will be at GMRCC Saturday, March 11th to compete in climbing with their peers. GMRCC would like to thank the community for allowing us to hold school competitions for nearly 23 years now.
The Scholastic Indoor rock climbing association began in the year 2000 with only two high schools.
In 2006 Jr.High joined, and again in 2014, elementary schools began to compete here.
We now have 13 high school and middle schools that will be competing this March.
Owner Steve Lulek has always believed in teaching the fundamentals of climbing to anyone who will learn. Over these past 23 years he has grown his program and encourages an attitude of camaraderie and respect among all climbers, especially across opposing teams.
