Top Rope Climbing

Top Roping is typically what people think of when they think rock climbing. A climber is attached to a rope that is secured from above and climbs on a tall wall while being belayed. Belaying is the act of holding and adequately operating the ropes that will secure the climber if he or she falls.

We have 31 Top Rope Stations that each have 2-3 different routes set on each. That is a total of roughly 80 different climbs at any given time! Our walls are about 25 feet high.

In order to Top Rope in our facility, you must pass a Belay Test to prove you can sufficiently belay a climber. We also offer belay lessons on a walk-in basis if you have never done so before or need a refresher.

Bouldering

Bouldering is the act of rock climbing on shorter walls over softer mats, without being attached to a rope. Anyone can boulder upon their first time visiting.

Our boulder walls are roughly 10 feet high. We have a total of around 50 boulder problems set at any given time spread out between our boulder room and the boulder cave.

Every fall is a ground fall in bouldering so extra precautions are necessary in order to decrease the risk for injury.

The Spray Wall & Campus Board

A spray wall is a bouldering wall set full with various, random holds with the intention that climbers can make up their own problems. Our spray wall also has two circuits set on it. A circuit is a route that is set to be climbed continuously in laps. You climb a circuit by following the taped numbers in order with your hands.

A campus board is a board about the height of a bouldering wall with rungs or holds set like a latter. To campus is to climb without using your feet.

Kilter Board

Brand new to our facility! We now have a 7×10 Homewall edition Kilter Board. This is a great tool to practice various techniques and skills.

Use the associated ipad to search through thousands of climbs to light up on the board and try! Our staff will introduce you to the app for your first time using it. Green holds designate your start, pink show your finish. Yellow holds are only for your feet and blue are everything in between!

Fitness Equipment

We have various fitness equipment to supplement your climbing workout. Two crew machines and two treadmills sit in our loft for your cardio workout. In addition, we have a pull up bar, free weights up to 50lbs, weighted plates, resistance bands, an adjustable bench, and more!

The Treadwall

Imagine a vertical treadmill. A Treadwall is a rotating wall of holds and moves based on bodyweight. You can change the speed of the wall but often times lighter children do not weigh enough for the wall to move. However, with adult assistance it can be used by everyone!

Treadwalls are an excellent way to train endurance.
