The Original Vermont Climbfit
Did you know that the original Vermont Climbfit was founded in 2011 by GMRCC owner Steve Lulek? Ever since we’ve been offering this amazing fitness program twice a week. Climbfit focuses on the three areas that make for strong climbers: GRIP, CORE, & CARDIO. By utilizing a diverse range of exercise techniques and equipment, we promise to get you in shape to complete the climbs you’ve been dreaming of, or even just give you the confidence to take all of the grocery bags in in one trip. Accept no substitutions and go with the original!

Cost is $10/class for non members or $5/class for members. All ability levels welcome!

Adult Rock Climbing League
Looking for a Fun Way to Stay Fit During the Cold Seasons?
Our Adult Climbing League is a one of a kind program offered in both locations to climbers 18+. Whether you are a competitive, experienced climber or you are new to climbing or to the area and are just looking for a fun way to climb and meet people, this is it.
We usually have between 8-10 teams of climbers and everyone gets a handicap to even things out. There are also “Theme Weeks” and if you climb in “theme” you earn bonus points toward your team’s score.
There are nightly door prizes and Apres Climbing at a local restaurant for post-crushing food and drink.
Fall Adult League 2023 Starts Thursday, September 21st
- First and second place team prizes.

Entry Fee
$40 Entry Fee
In addition to League Entry Fee, participants must possess a current membership or day pass for League Nights.
How It Works
- Each team is made of 3-4 climbers.
- Teams climb together in the allowed time for points.
- Points are determined by the difficulty level of the climbs.
- Everyone receives a Handicap Bonus to keep things even.
- The top 3 climber’s scores go toward the week’s team score.
- Theme’d costume climbing earns bonus points…
- … and then we all go out for food and drinks afterward. Long Story Short…a Bowling League for climbers!
- Meet 10 Thursdays between September 21st and November 16th 6:30PM – 8:30PM!
